Sandy Kurtzman is a Board Certified Master Hair Colorist by the American Board of Certified Hair Colorists and with the International Board of Certified Hair Colorists; she is also a mentor with ABCH (http://www.haircolorist.com), helping other professionals pass the rigorous national board certification through close association and teaching all she knows and is a salon owner. Sandy has been in the beauty industry for more than 30 years; during which she has owned salons, and been an educator for some of the major hair care products manufacturers. She has an uncanny ability to determine a hair color formula, on the spot, and carry out the perfect technique to get people to give that second look. Her philosophy is to design natural-looking hair color that emulates the sun-kissed, youthful hair of children and she believes that subtle hues and highlights, rich with depth and dimension, will bring back the vibrance and believability to your hair color. In addition to being a Board-Certified Master Hair Colorist, Sandy designs haircuts that work for you, not against you, and last much longer than other haircuts you may have had. Sandy has lived in Austin with her family since 1997.
